DELAFIELD, WI – Following the news that Governor Evers has vetoed the historic middle class tax cut, IRG Action Fund CEO CJ Szafir released this statement in response:
“The legislature’s tax plan would have helped small businesses grow, assisting middle-class workers along the way. But instead of working with Republicans to make Wisconsin a better state for all, he’s chosen to continue a tax system that punishes success.
“Wisconsin’s punitive tax system forces families, small businesses, and entrepreneurs to leave the state. This is a real missed opportunity.”
